The District Medical and Health Officer in collaboration with the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, Shillong Municipal Board, Meghalaya Veterinary Service Association and NGOs is organising a School Rally tomorrow as part of observation of the World Rabies Day 2024.
The rally will commence at 11 am from the school compound of Savio Juniorate, Mawlai and proceeds to Mawlai main road through Mawlai Mawdatbaki and finally culminates at the Indoor Hall, Mawlai Mawdatbaki where a short awareness programme will be held.
The rally marks the start of activities of observing the World Rabies Week 2024 in the State.
