Martin Luther Christian University has launched an online course, “Introduction to COVID-19: Be an Informed Citizen and Community Volunteer”.
A press statement from the university here today said, that the course is self-learning multi-disciplinary workbook which aims to provide basic up-to-date information about COVID-19 and its health and social effects; to present data and recommendations about various aspects of COVID-19, its public health management, and to be an informed volunteer for COVID-19 projects.
The course is in workbook format with text material and graphics compiled from open-source references, especially from international agencies such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and recent scientific updates. Mindful that the science and knowledge of the disease are still evolving, the contents of the workbook represent currently available data which are authentic at the time of writing.
“This is a self-study and self-certified course, which may take 6-12 hours to complete. Participants who have studied the course materials and completed the feedback can download or print the certificate. Members of the public are welcome to access the workbook from the online courses in the university web page https://www.mlcuniv.in/online-courses/,” the MLCU said.
