A concert in aid of a cancer charity, Kitbok Cancer Care Foundation, will be held on January 24 at St Paul’s High School’s mini stadium in Marbisu.
The concert will be held in association with True Works Enterprise and Mawngap Multipurpose Cooperative Society.
Founded by like-minded individuals to assist disadvantaged families who have family members suffering from cancer, the members said at a press conference today that the goal of the organisation is not just to provide financial assistance but also to help in other ways.
The foundation is only a few months old, as it was created in October last year. It was conceived by the late Kitbok Fancon, a well-known radio jockey with Red FM.
