The Meghalaya Human Rights Commission in collaboration with Kiang Nangbah Government College, Jowai today organised an awareness programme on human rights at the college auditorium.
The programme was also attended by Jowai MLA Wailadmiki Shylla, member of the rights panel B. Giri, Advocate Jopmiki Shylla and NEHU Law Department A.K. Singh.
The aim of the programme is to make students aware about their rights and how they can actively contribute to the promotion and protection of human rights.
