The A’chik Conscious Holistically Integrated Krima (ACHIK) has written to the Chief Minister to call for the upgrade of Kharkutta block to a civil sub-division.
The demand for an upgrade is based on several factors, namely, expanding population, providing greater administrative services and development, addressing governance bottlenecks, addressing socioeconomic deprivation, etc.
The letter was signed by the North Garo Hills unit of ACHIK’s co-chairman.
