The Khasi Students Union (KSU), South West Khasi Hills unit has urged the District Selection Committee (DSC) to address the grievances of candidates who recently appeared for the examination conducted for post of LDA.
Recently, a number of job aspirants had alleged errors in the Mathematics and General Knowledge question papers, which they had to attempt during the examination conducted by the DSC on February 5.
In a letter to the member secretary today, the KSU said the DSC should call the candidates for a discussion before coming up with any solutions on the alleged errors.
Expressing gratitude to the efforts of the committee to conduct the written examination to various posts including Lady Supervisor, Grade IV and LDA etc, the KSU said, “The conduct of written exams and personal interview for DSC Posts is much anticipated by many as an initiative of equal opportunity and fairness whereby the applicants can compete in such exams without any doubt, ambiguity and distrust on the performance of the appointing authority.”
However, the union said it was flabbergasted and extremely dumbfounded on the recent mistake and negligence.
