A senior radiologist, Dr Sanjay Kumar Barman, passed away today due to Covid-19 pneumonia at NEIGRIHMS.
Dr Barman was survived by his wife and two sons.
He retired from Meghalaya government service as a senior radiologist and then worked at the Ramakrishna Mission Clinic here for a few years before working in Guwahati for another 10 years.
Dr Barman had studied medicine at Dibrugarh Medical College, Guwahati Medical College and AIIMS, New Delhi.
His body was cremated today in Shillong.
