Shillong, Aug 9: The Nongmensong Dorbar Secondary School conducted a cleanliness drive in the nearby areas of the school on Friday as part of the Chief Minister Youth for Green Campaign Movement.
The cleanliness drive witnessed active participation from the Rangbah Shnong-cum-President of the School School Managing Committee, P Warjri, Executive Members of the Dorbar Shnong, Headmistress of Nongmensong Dorbar Secondary School, S Kharsahnoh, along with members of the School Managing Committee, teachers and students.
The initiative aimed at creating awareness among students and the community on the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and maintaining a healthy environment. Through the campaign, the school community took part in keeping the surrounding areas clean and promoting the spirit of collective responsibility towards environmental protection.
The Chief Minister Youth for Green Campaign Movement of Meghalaya focuses on encouraging youth and communities to actively participate in cleanliness activities and environmental conservation.
