Shillong, May 21: Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma today chaired a joint meeting of the Police, Urban Affairs, and Veterinary departments in Tura to formally initiate the development of a modern police complex at Rongkhon.

Officials from the concerned departments discussed land requirements, planning modalities, and coordination mechanisms for the phased implementation of the project, which is expected to not only improve administrative effectiveness but also enhance facilities for the police force and other public services.
