Two vehicles, a police bus and a gypsy, were set on fire using a suspected petrol bomb by unknown persons in Jowai Police Reserve today.
The incident occurred at around 2 am today.
The bus was partially damaged on the front while the private gypsy that belonged to a driver of the department was completely gutted.
Police suspects that a petrol bomb was thrown at the vehicles.
A case has been registered and police are on the lookout for persons involved.
