Shillong, Jul 15: The College of Post-Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences (CPGSAS) Umiam, will organise a two-day workshop on ‘Cow Management and Innovation’ on July 16-17.
The workshop aims to bring together scientists, academicians, extension professionals, entrepreneurs, farmers and other stakeholders for knowledge sharing and capacity building in the scientific management of indigenous cattle.
It will highlight recent advances in cattle management, innovative utilisation of cow dung and urine-based products and sustainable livestock-based enterprises, a release informed today.
