Jowai, Jul 14: Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC), Thombor Shiwat on Tuesday launched the official website of the district council.
Shiwat said this initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing the accessibility of information and services for the residents of Jaintia Hills.
He said the digital initiative is expected to strengthen communication between the council and its members, fostering a more engaged community. Additionally, it aims to streamline various administrative processes, making them more efficient.
He called on employees to promote transparency and accessibility to pave the way for a more informed citizenry in the region.
The function was attended by Executive Member in-charge Statistics & Information Department, Medling M Swer, Chairman Dr. Sankey Shangpung, MDCs, officers and staff of the JHADC.
