A male fetus was found dumped in a drain at the Industrial Training Institute, Rynjah Pdengshnong.
East Khasi Hills superintendent of police, Sylvester Nongtnger today said that the fetus which is about four to five months was recovered on November 12.
“Inquest and other legal formalities have been observed and the body was sent to Civil Hospital for PM examination,” he said.
Informing that the fetus is kept at the morgue, the SP has called for identification. He said concerned can contact police control room at 0364-2222214/2222215 and identity will be kept confidential.
