The A’chik Students’ Welfare Association (ASWA) has appealed to Deputy Chief Minister and Public Works Department Minister Prestone Tynsong to fix the “deplorable condition” of the Selsella-Balachanda road.
The route is “riddled with numerous potholes and extensive damage,” Tynsong was told. “This road serves as a crucial lifeline for our community, connecting us to vital resources, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and economic opportunities. However, its deteriorating condition has not only caused inconvenience but also poses significant safety hazards to commuters.”
