Shillong, May 24: The office of the Rerapara Block Development Officer will hold an IEC Campaign and Beneficiary Saturation Programme from May 25 to May 29 across DA-JGUA villages under the block.
The initiative is part of the nationwide ‘Jan Bhagidaari – Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle’ campaign and is being organised by the State Rural Employment Society – Block Implementing Division, Community and Rural Development Department.
The campaign seeks to create awareness among tribal communities about various government welfare schemes and ensure greater outreach and beneficiary saturation in remote villages. Multiple line departments will participate to disseminate information and deliver services related to health, education, agriculture, horticulture, rural development, power, fisheries, veterinary services, employment, the public distribution system and other welfare initiatives.
