To ensure smooth flow of traffic in South West Khasi Hills, the Superintendent of Police has made specific traffic arrangements in the district for Thursday when the votes will be counted.
No entry has been marked from Lad Sakwang towards DC office where vehicles coming from Mawkyrwat and proceeding to Jakrem will be diverted from Lad Sakwang (Mawkyrwat District Court) via Pyndensakwang-Sakwang to Jakrem.
No entry has also been marked from Jakrem towards Laitlawsang where vehicles coming from Jakrem proceeding to Mawkyrwat will be diverted from Lad Mawthawpdah (Jakrem) via Sakwang-Pyndensakwang to Mawkyrwat.
