A teacher of school in West Jaiñtia Hills district has been arrested on charges that he sexually assaulted and threatened his student, police said.
The arrest was made after a FIR was lodged by family members of the 13-year old student, at the Women Police Station in Jowai on May 25.
The accused has been remanded to judicial custody, police said.
