Sankardev College held an ‘Inter College Science Competition’ on the theme of ‘Solution for Sustainability: Roadmap towards Green Earth’ through its Department of Chemistry on March 26, a delayed release said today.
Students from various colleges of Meghalaya participated in the event, which was held under three categories.
Under the model presentation category, the top three prizes were bagged by the students representing St Anthony’s College, Sankardev College and Synod College respectively.
In the PowerPoint presentation category, first prize was awarded to Nandini Prasad, second to Barak KH Hrohlu, both representing St Anthony’s College, and third was awarded to Idadonbok Thabah of Synod College.
In the essay writing competition, Wanrahjingkmen of St Anthony’s College came first, Krishna Sharma of St Anthony’s College second and third place was jointly awarded to Nikita Gurung of Sankardev College and Efinica Thabah of St Edmund’s College.
The event was a part of the ongoing diamond jubilee celebrations of the college.
