PHE minister Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar today inspected Pynden Mawthawïang village in Mawkyrwat for achieving 100 per cent functional household water tap connection under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM).
Tongkhar expressed happiness for the success and stated that the government also desired to convert villages from ODF to ODF plus and urged people to maintain cleanliness.
He also stressed the importance of solid and liquid waste management and stated that waste can be turned into money.
Others present at the occasion are R. Nongdhar, SDO, PHE, Mawkyrwat, PHE, besides others.
