Shillong, Jul 5: The Hynñiewtrep Integrated Territorial Organisation’s (HITO’s) Langrin zone has urged the state government to repair the Wahkaji to Langpa Road after finding it in a deplorable condition during a recent inspection.
The inspection was carried out following multiple complaints from residents.
The road’s condition is so poor that residents have to carry patients on foot to reach the Ranikor Community Health Centre.
HITO said it wants the government to prioritise the area and provide better road connectivity to ease movement for residents.
