Ri Bhoi police today arrested a man for allegedly possessing drugs valued at Rs 10 lakh.
According to Superintendent of Police Vivekananda Singh Rathore, the accused named Rajat Paul from Assam was caught on Thursday night at Mawtnum village, located along National Highway-6.
Paul was intercepted while travelling in a tourist cab with 36.3 grams of contraband.
A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
