Manat, an initiative to showcase and highlight the rich heritage, art and culture of the North East, is set to welcome travel enthusiasts to explore the eight states of the region.
Conceptualised by Nishant, aka Rainlover, of ‘The Rainlover Show’, the series of podcasts, music videos and events features the eight hidden pearls – “Meghalaya – the abode of clouds, Manipur – known for its art and culture, Mizoram – the land of blue mountains, Arunachal Pradesh – land of dawn-lit mountains, Nagaland – the land of festivals, Assam – a gateway to the freshness of tea farms, Tripura – the land of cultural diversity, and the newest pearl Sikkim – the retreat to the Himalayan paradise.”
Manat has been described as “a humble initiative to create an awareness amongst all travel enthusiasts welcoming them to explore these beautiful states of North East India.”
Travellers from the various walks of life have joined hands to conceptualize and promote Manat and, within it, the endless possibilities of exploring these less-explored treasures.
