A multi-speciality medical camp was held at the Lumshnong PHC in East Jaiñtia Hills district today attended by over 190 residents of Narpuh area.
The camp was organised by the CSR branch of Star Cement Limited and had doctors from Nemcare Hospital and Downtown Hospital, Guwahati to provide medical attention to attendees.
Besides free medical check up, thyroid and blood sugar tests were provided to the residents during the camp.
Doctors who attended patients at the camp were Dr Jeumon Talukdar, ENT specialist of Downtown Hospital, Dr Smnity Burgohain Das and Dr Shakustala Mohanta, Gynaecologist of Nemcare Hospital and Dr Ngaidlang Phyllei, Medical in charge of PHC Lumshnong.
Manager CSR Star Cement, Kingshok K. Borah informed that another camp is scheduled at Brichyrnot village.
