The Khasi Students Union, North Khasi Hills District unit in Ri Bhoi has re-elected Ferdynald Kharkamni as its president.
The general election of the district unit was held today at Sajer Nongpoh Community Hall.
New office bearers of the union for 2024-2027include Joseph Lambok Rymbai as the vice president, James Hitler Mawphñiang general secretary, Banjop Maring assistant secretary and others.
Kharkamni during his speech said they union will work diligently to serve the people and strive for the betterment of the community in all spheres of life.
He said the KSU’s ongoing commitment to address various issues for the betterment of the people in Ri Bhoi and reiterated that the union will continue to oppose the railway project.
