Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI), along with National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), has established an Investor Service Centre in Shillong to serve the needs of securities market investors in Meghalaya.
The centre, managed by NSE, was inaugurated by Jeevan Sonparote, Chief General Manager yesterday, in the presence of Krishnan Iyer, Senior Vice President of NSE, and Debankur Majumdar, Regional Regulatory Head (East) of NSE and other officials from SEBI, NSE and investors.
The centre will facilitate the resolution of investor complaints against listed corporate entities and registered intermediaries in the securities market and conduct investor awareness programs in the State.
