The East Jaiñtia National Council (EJNC) has urged the office of the Deputy Commissioner to strike off the work experience requirement for the post of contractual Lower Division (LDA) at Lumshnong C&RD Block.
According to the EJNC an advertisement dated June 20 inviting eligible candidates to apply for the post are required to have a minimum of two years work experience.
The organisations said most of the educated youth have less experience due scarcity of jobs in government and private sectors and hence many would not be able to apply, even though they have the required qualifications.
