The East Khasi Hills District Chess Association (EKHDCA) will organise its District Selection Camp on May 31 and June 1 at the Umsohsun Community Hall (near Old Dreamland Cinema Hall, Shillong) at 9 am. Cash prizes and medals will be given to the winners.
Further, the top 12 chess players from this event will be selected to represent East Khasi Hills to the 47th Meghalaya State ‘A’ FIDE Rating Chess Championship 2024 which will be held in Tura from June 12 to 15.
The entry fees for this District Selection Camp are Rs 200 for students and Rs 300 for others. The first prize is (Cash & Trophy), 2nd – 4th (Cash & Medal) & 5th – 12th (Medals).
