The 172nd Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya organised a free medical camp today as part of its efforts to ensure the well-being of the population living along the Indo-Bangladesh border.
The medical camp was conducted under the civic action programme at Kuliang village in West Jaintia Hills.
During the camp, BSF and civilian doctors conducted free health checkups and distributed medicines to the villagers of Kuliang, Barsora, Laijuri and Pyrtakona villages. More than 300 local villagers from the surrounding area benefited from this medical camp.
