The East Jaiñtia Hills Deputy Commissioner has informed that that application (Fresh and Renewal) are invited from students who are permanent residents in the State of Meghalaya for the year 2020-21 for scholarship schemes.
Pre Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Caste students studying within the state of Meghalaya from class IX upto class X in Government schools/institutes or private schools/institutes recognized by appropriate authority of the State. Annual income of Parents for Scheduled Caste students should not exceed Rs 2.00 Lakhs per annum.
Post Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Caste students who are pursuing higher studies in different courses from class XI to Post Graduation. Annual income of Parents for Schedule Caste Students should not exceed ?. 2.50 Lakhs per annum.
Free Studentship Scholarship for Scheduled Tribe/Scheduled Caste for students who are pursuing higher studies in different courses from class XI to Post-Graduation. Students who failed in the previous year and also those students who are not eligible to apply for Post Matric Scholarship for Schedule Tribe/Schedule Caste on account of their parents income exceeding Rs 2.50 Lakhs per annum are eligible to apply for this Scholarship.
Book Grant Scholarship for Scheduled Tribe students who are pursuing higher studies in different courses from class XI to Post-Graduation (excluding Vocational, Engineering, Medical & Paramedical courses) and who secured 60% marks and above during previous year examination are eligible to apply for the Book Grant Scholarship.
Merit Scholarship for Tribal and General Students of Meghalaya who have secured very high percentage of marks in Class X, XII (MBOSE, AIICSE & CBSE) and Degree Examination 2020 for a specific number of Merit Scholarships to be chosen Merit Wise.
Post Graduate Research Scholarship for the students of Meghalaya (SC/ST and General) who are doing research courses in University or Research Institutions for M.Phil or Ph.D and who secured 50% marks and above at Master Degree level are eligible to apply for the Scholarship.

All Principals submitting the application forms should submit along with the soft copy. The last date of submission of application forms will be on or before December 15, 2020. No application form will be entertained after the above specified date.
