Shillong, Aug 21: Star Cement CSR organised community activities to celebrate Independent Day in Lumshnong area.
Initiatives included installation of flood lights at Brishrynot Football Ground, handover of an EV garbage carrier to Dorbar Shnong Lumshnong, distribution of ₹50,000 scholarship to 39 Class X and XII students from Lumshnong and Brishrynot, and friendly football matches.
Officials said the drive aimed to promote sports, cleanliness, youth engagement and education.
