Shillong, Aug 25: Five to six masked men torched a Bolero pickup (ML-11-A-8668) hired by Shree Cement Ltd with a petrol bomb at Lad Jarain, Sutnga Elaka in East Jaintia Hills on Tuesday evening.
The vehicle belongs to a private individual and was hired by the company.
Superintendent of Police Shailendra Bamaniya said there were four occupants in the vehicle, including three staff of Shree Cement, who were returning to Khliehriat from the plant when the incident occurred around 4-4.30 pm.
No casualty was reported. Investigation is on, the SP said.
