The District Election Officer of North Garo Hills, RP Marak, has notified that, as per existing norms for the upcoming February 27 Assembly election, the District Appellate Committee has been constituted.
The committee comprises the DRDA Project Director, Nodal Officer in charge of Expenditure Monitoring of the District and Treasury Officer.
The committee has been appointed in order to redress any grievances with regards to the release of cash seized in connection with the conduct of the election.
