The official inauguration of the permanent campus of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Shillong will be held on October 25. This significant occasion will also mark the 12th convocation ceremony for the graduating class of 2024.
Union Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh will be the chief guest on the occasion while Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and Union Minister of State for Textiles Pabitra Margherita will be the guests of honour.
The inauguration and convocation ceremonies will be hosted by Tanu Kashyap, Director General of NIFT, alongside Shankar K. Jha, Director of NIFT Shillong.
According to NIFT Shillong, this landmark event not only represents the growth and development of fashion education in the region but also signifies NIFT’s commitment to nurturing creativity and innovation in the field of fashion and textiles.
