Shillong, Aug 30: Five people travelling in a car were injured after their vehicle slammed into the boundary wall of Eldorado Guesthouse in the city on Saturday night.
The incident near the Dhankheti roundabout resulted in the car catching fire. Passersby tried to douse the flames prior to the Fire and Emergency Service arriving at the scene of the incident.
Four of the injured were taken to Shillong Civil Hospital while another in a more serious condition was referred to NEIGRIHMS. Further details are awaited from the authorities.
