A veterinary dispensary at Dongki-ingding, Mairang, was inaugurated and dedicated to the people of the area today by Speaker of the Meghalaya Assembly, Metbah Lyngdoh.
Lyngdoh, who is also the local MLA, was joined at the function by Water Resource Minister and Mawthadraishan MLA Brolding Nongsiej.
Constructed by the Animal Husbandry Department, the dispensary will cater to the healthcare needs of livestock in the area.
The Speaker exhorted officials to meet the expectations of the people by providing them with adequate medical care for their livestock.
