The Dorbar Shnong of Lawsohtun received 60 solar street lights yesterday under the Special Rural Works Programme (SRWP) 2021 from the MLA of Mylliem, Hamletson Dohling.
Recently the Dorbar received an office-cum-retail shop for the Lawsohtun Farmers Association through the same scheme.
Dohling informed that a sum of approximately Rs 2.50 lakh has also been earmarked from the Public Works Department for roads in the area.
On the same day, the MLA also contributed financial assistance to Ïohtilyn Wankhar, who will be participating in the All India MMA Fight, to be held in Mumbai on December 3.
