Four Bangladeshi nationals were arrested for illegally entering India through the Indo-Bangladesh border at Dona in East Jaiñtia Hills district.
The accused are Bhar Uddin (46) Kamil Ahmed (28), Koyson Ahmed (24), and Faisal Alam (21) all from Sylhet. They were detained by the by the infiltration cell of the district in Umtyra yesterday evening and handed over to Khliehriat police station.
According to the in-charge of the Umtyra Infiltration check post the apprehended persons were travelling in a tourist taxi bearing registration ML11 5376.
