The United Youth of Damalgre has raised strong objection to the no objection certificate issued by a hat committee for the proposed opening of a wine shop.
According to the youth organization, the Damalgre Hat/Bazaar Committee had issued NOC to one Sansu A Sangma of Rangsakona without any consultation with nokmas, gaonbura and other stakeholders in the area.
“We will not allow a wine shop in Damalgre and its adjoining areas and the NOC should be withdrawn immediately otherwise we will hold a public meeting or rally to oppose this move,” the youth organization warned.
