As a prelude to the World No Tobacco Day 2024 to be held on May 31 the National Health Mission, Tobacco Control Cell organised a “Walk for My Meghalaya-Tobacco Free Meghalaya”.

In Jowai town under the direction of Director of State Project Director SSA & Director of School Education & Literacy, Meghalaya Shillong schools like Seiñraij Higher Secondary School, Jowai, Seiñraij UPS, Seiñraij Govt. LPS, Panaliar Secondary School, Jowai, Panaliar UPS SSA, Panaliar Govt. LPS, Panaliar English School, Jowai and Welcome Gayang Memorial School, Jowai took part.
