The Voice of the People Party (VPP) has elected Deiwi Tongper as president of the party in Narpuh circle and Dauniki Dhar as general secretary.
The other members are Vice-President Yoomiky Kyndait, Assistant Secretary Spaiñlin Nongrum, Organising Secretary Keldrim Sumer, Finance Secretary Finzy Mary Ksih, Treasurer Hutmon Dhar and eight executive members.
The confirmation ceremony of the elected members was held at Lumshnong yesterday in the presence of Mawlai MLA, Brightstarwell Marbaniang and VPP East Jaiñtia Hills Organizing Secretary, Damewanhi Rymbai.
