The Voice of the People Party (VPP) has urged the health department and NEIGRIHMS to reschedule the date of their respective examinations, which falls on the same date so that aspirants don’t miss both the exams.
VPP general secretary, Ricky Syngkon led a party delegation to meet the heads of both the State health department and NEIGRIHMS separately with the request to change the examination date.
The health department will conduct the examination for staff nurse while NEIGRIHS will hold the entrance examination for M.Sc nursing course on the same date, December 4.
The party said this will deprive candidates of competing in both the examination.
“The Director in charge of NEIGRIHMS has sympathetically given his assurance to look into the matter in the interest of the candidates from the state of Meghalaya,” VPP spokesperson, Batskhem Myrboh said.
Earlier, the FKJGP has also made the same request to health minister James Sangma.
