Shillong College and Sngap Syiem College of Mawkyrwat emerged the overall champions of in the women’s and men’s categories respectively of the NEHU Inter College Cross Country Championship 2023.
The event was organised by the Sports Department of NEHU alongside the NEHU Cross Country Run 2023 for students of the university and affiliated colleges, teaching and non-teaching staff at its campus.
All together 125 students took part in the events which started from the Cluster of Class Rooms (Non-Science).
NEHU finance officer, Prof. B. Panda attended the event as the chief guest and gave away the mementoes and trophies to the winners. Faculty members of the university, N. Das, Asst. Director (PE & Sports) cum Organising Secretary and Non-Teaching staff of the University were present among others.
