Riatsamthiah locality today hosted a tribute concert for Snow White’s guitarist Manfulson Lyngdoh, fondly called Bah Hep.
Snow White, a popular hard rock- fusion band in Meghalaya is also celebrating its 25th anniversary.
The tribute concert was organised by the Seng Samla Riatsamthiah and supported by the dorbar shnong and the Meghalaya Aids Control Society under the theme ‘Say No to Drugs’.
Rangbah shnong Mariahom Kharkrang said the concert is to remember and honour Manfulson, whom the locality is proud of his contributions to professional music in the State.
The popular guitarist passed away in October 2017. Manfulson started his career in music at a very young age of six playing in church services and winning many music competitions.
He joined Snow White in 2001. Manfulson arranged the music for the album ‘U Rangdajied’ in 2005. He continued to play in many more albums recorded in famous studios like ‘Rocabelle’ and ‘The Basement’. He continued to play with Snow White till his demise.
