Rajya Sabha MP from the State, Wanwei Roy Kharlukhi yesterday inaugurated the new school building of Christ School at Mukroh village in West Jaintia Hills.
The school was established by former minister Dr. Henry Lamin in memory of his mother Christina Lamin.

Calling on local villagers to give their support to the school, Kharlukhi expressed hope that the school would not only remain for upper primary school level but also grow to secondary and higher secondary school level. He also assured all his support for the school.
Others who spoke at the programme include local MDC Aiborlang Shadap, Laskein Block Development Officer Baristar Niang, Christ King Church parish priest Rev. Fr. John M. Myrboh and Christ School secretary Romeo Lamin.
