In order to pressurise the State government to speed up the construction of entry-exit points in the state, pressure groups led by the Federation of Khasi Jaiñtia and Garo People today set up their own check point at Bajengdoba in North Garo Hills.
Pressure groups in the state have been demanding for entry-exit points in the state to regulate the entry of non-residents and demand implementation of Inner Line Permit.
