Altogether 202 aspiring civil service aspirants today attended an orientation programme organised by the West Jaiñtia Hills district administration in the District Library Auditorium Mynthong, Jowai.
Extra Assistant Commissioner W.K Kharluki in his presentation gave a gist on how to prepare for MCS preliminary and main examinations. He also discussed the importance of having a wide knowledge while preparing for the prelims and to have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the subject while preparing for the mains. He encouraged the youths to focus on how to set the goals and measures needed to achieve them.
Sanatan Das Sub- Regional Employment Officer, National Career Service Centre for SC/ ST, Jowai, Directorate General of Employment, Ministry of Labour and Employment gave tips to aspirants on how to prepare for MCS personal interview.
Earlier, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Alexander S Mukhim in his introductory speech said the purpose of organising the orientation programme is to help the aspiring youths how to go about in preparing for the MCS examination.
