The Meghalaya State Judicial Academy in collaboration with WWF India organised a two-day orientation programme on Forest and Wildlife Conservation Laws for judicial officers and officers of the Forest Department at the High Court of Meghalaya conference hall in Shillong.
Chief Justice S Vaidyanathan inaugurated the programme on Friday in the presence of RS Gill, Meghalaya’s Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Justice Hamarsan Sing Thangkhiew and Justice Madan B Lokur, Judge of the Supreme Court of Fiji and former Judge of Supreme Court of India addressed the programme virtually.
