Shillong, Sep 9: Traffic restrictions will come into force from Thursday with ‘No Entry’ imposed from Paltan Bazar to Jeep Stand here due to roadworks.
The office of the Assistant Executive Engineer, PWD (Roads), Shillong ‘B’ Sub-Division, will resume construction of the aqueduct channel at Jeep Stand with effect from Thursday until completion of the project.
Therefore, vehicles will not be able to proceed from Paltan Bazar towards Jeep Stand from Suman Transport and the Chowkhani building junction. The general public has been requested to cooperate with the traffic police and follow alternate routes during this period.
