The general meeting of the East Khasi Hills unit of the Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers Association (MUPSTA) has been postponed on account of the ban on public gatherings by the state government.
The ban comes into force from Wednesday as a precautionary measure against the spread of Covid-19.
The MUPSTA meeting was to be held on January 8.
