Shillong, Sep 1: The Sub-Divisional Officer of Sohra has informed of restrictions on road access on the morning of September 4 on account of the 5th Sohra International Half Marathon.
Roads along the route will remain closed to all vehicular traffic, except emergency vehicles, from 4:30am to 10am.
The roads in question are from Mawkdok towards Sohra from Laitsohpliah (near Meili Resort), Mawkma towards Shillong-Sohra Road, Laitmawsiang, Laitryngew roads towards Shillong-Sohra Road, Dainthlen Junction, Khliehshnong, Sohra towards Shillong-Sohra Road, Laitkynsew-Sohra Road via Mawmluh and Lad Sohbar-Sohra Road.
All travellers, tourists and members of the public intending to travel on the said date have been advised to plan their itinerary accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
